Job Description:

The EHS Manager serves on the Plant Leadership team, and reports directly to the plant manager.

The EHS Manager:

Manages and directs site in achieving EHS targets & objectives.

  • Directs development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
  • Works with leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.
  • Determines appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track performance against targets and objectives.
  • Supports creation of EHS goals for the site manager and appropriate activity based goals for the leadership team, functional managers, and front-line supervisors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results.
  • Works to assign MESH element champions and facilitate their engagement in ownership of the MESH elements.
  • Drives and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
  • Creates and facilitates EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year.
  • Works with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations.
  • Pursues third party recognition for programs that establish the site and company's EHS program as world class.
  • Uses established EHS data processes such as MESH Suite to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.
  • Creates training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked to completion.
  • Works with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place, on a PM program, and that EHS action items are resolved on a timely basis.

Education and Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in an EHS related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental, health and safety program management and employee training.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Position Criteria:

  • Significant experience with day to day application of Federal and state laws, OSHA and EPA regulations as well as MESH and worker's compensation
  • Significant experience with positive employee relations policies and programs.
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication

Requirements:

  • The candidate will develop test programs for 80GHz, RADAR products, which include multi-channel receivers, transmitters with integrated phase lock loops, VCO's and power amplifiers.
  • Starting with customer test specifications, the candidate will create test plans for both characterization and production testing.
  • Characterization includes a much more comprehensive set of tests, intended to provide valuable feedback to the design community to aid in process improvement.
  • The candidate will collaborate closely with design, ATE vendors and the FSL technology group to continually improve the test capability at mmWave frequencies.
  • The RADAR test engineer is required to coordinate work flow on a wide variety of device setups. He/she should be familiar with probe card and load board design and layout.
  • A solid understanding of mmWave test procedures, calibration techniques and correlation procedures are necessary skills.
  • The candidate should be familiar with various data analysis tools.
  • Innovative thinking to drive down test cost is important as well.
  • Due to the lengthy lead times on acquiring mmWave components, the candidate needs to anticipate future test requirements to insure new test capability is available when needed.
  • The candidate will be expected to document all test setups and test programs.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Requires a BSEE degree or higher and at least 5 years of experience in microwave or mmWave test development.
  • Familiarity with aROOSATE and/or other ATE systems is mandatory.
  • Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
